Popocalypse is a one-tap chain-reaction game with a B-movie grin. A town is overrun by bubbly little specimens, each with a face and a temper.
You get one tap. Pop one in the right place and the blast sets off its neighbors, and theirs, until the whole board goes up in a roar of bangs, boings, zaps and splats. Pick the wrong one and the chain fizzles out. Choose wisely.
A Cast With Attitude
18 Specimens
Hotheads blow their tops, Tanks shrug off light hits, Ouchies need two knocks, Gulps swallow blasts and burp them back out, Hype fires back whatever hits it, Sparkies arc lightning to their friends, and Snooze dulls every blast around it.
Power-Ups and Machinery
Set off Chili Jars, Nitro Cans, Batteries and the Fuse Cap that freezes the machinery. Gates, crates, spinners and conveyor belts make timing matter as much as aim.
110 Boards of Mayhem
100 sectors across five zones, from Quiet Town to Ground Zero, a Containment Lab bonus board in every zone, and five bosses: General Grumble, Big Gulp, Overload, Dozer and The Big One. Up to three stars on every board.
A New Daily Every Day
One new board every day at midnight, the same board for everyone. Your first shot is the one that counts. Practice all you like afterwards.
The Front Page
Every run ends on the front page of a trashy tabloid, from SO CLOSE! to, if you wipe the board, TOTAL ANNIHILATION! Collect every specimen in the Specimens file as you meet them.
Leaderboards and Friends
Today's Daily and the Campaign, for your friends or for everyone. Add friends by code; they show up in every Deep Dark Abyss game. Your DDAP Sigil is an anonymous player identity: a gamertag you choose, no email or password. Leaderboards are optional; the game plays fully offline without them.

Privacy
Your progress is stored on your device. Leaderboards and friends are optional and use an anonymous DDAP Sigil: a random ID, the gamertag you choose, and your game results. No name, email, phone number or location is collected. Data is never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to track you, and you can delete your Sigil and all of its data from inside the app at any time. Read the full privacy policy.
Join the Popocalypse Beta
Popocalypse is in private beta for iPhone, iPad, and Android phones and tablets. Testing is by invitation: tap Request Beta Access below and fill in the short form in the email: your device, operating system and version, and the Apple ID or Google account you use with the App Store or Google Play. Test invitations are tied to that account, so please use the one on your device.
